Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since 2011. She was also the producer of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from the acting group, in her last year with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer. Her other work includes the game show series that she appearances. The daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. She was a student at Pomona College for a short time and then was graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with who they have two children. Post's performance as an actress, wife and mother is admired by many.
